Cedarville township cemetery just off State Route 42 on Tarbox-Cemetery Rd west of Cedarviile. Bring your own writing stick to log the find.
The “SH” in the cache name above signifies a Spirit Hunt, a
project by the Miami Valley Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by MVG members and others to highlight cemeteries in the area.
The cemetery is well maintained by Cedarville township and is still an active cemetery. Please be respectful of the area and watch out for muggles. The cache is hidden on the older section of the cemetery.
The original cache here was hidden by Spooky1013 and was a small lock n lock container. We replaced their missing container in July of 2008 and that smallish container is there now. Thanks to Spooky1013 for their hide in this cemetery.
Among a couple notables buried here is Martin Robison Delany and Hallie Quinn Brown - they both have Ohio historical markers dedicated to them that are located up the road in Wilberforce on the campus of Central State University.
