Vandergore: Bonjour,

A circular walk taking about 1h40mins, but not suitable for small childrens, as the paths are large but with open cliff edges. You will need a pen.

From the car park, take a north east direction, following the tarmac road to the village 'Le Mollard'. At the end of the village take the road to your right, marked dead end. This road is steep passing through the houses and into the forest.

After about half an hour, there is a fork in the road; with bee hives at the end of the field; take the road to your right. The road becomes a path and starts to go down, with lovely views towards the 'Lac du Bourget' and 'Le Grand Colombier'.

Once you have found the cache, no need to come back on your steps, follow the path down through the woods. Towards the end of the walk there are two paths you can take: either the small path on your right, through the small wall, which will bring you out at 'L'Etang Bleu'.
or: continue straight down to the railway crossing; please be carefull, very fast trains. on the other side, by the cross turn right, go through the village of Vions. At the river (Le Rhone) the road passes under the bridge, you have arrived at 'L'Etang Bleu'.
