Geocache Description:



Bartley Ranch Park with its "Hawkins Amphitheater" is a great cultural resource for the city of Reno. It is placed in a stunning natural setting.

You can experience every type of entertainment from Hip Hop to Opera, from magic shows to live theater here. It is a very family friendly place that allows you to take in a picnic dinner and eat it on the lawn. Some performances are free and others require an admission price.


This cache is placed on the hill to the South of the Amphitheater. You actually get a great view of the stage from near the cache site. There is a parking lot on top. There is an awesome view of the city from up here as well. This is one of my favorite places to take visiting family and friends to introduce them to our fair city.

The cache is well hidden in the rocks. Please re hide it well since this is a "muggle prone" area.
