Geocache Description:

Hidden by Matthew.

This is one of our favourite walks and we have hidden the cache where we have our lunch break on our Lewis Road walk.

topfun

We know there are few others around this area, but we just love this place and really enjoy going for walks in this area. It is beautiful in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. We have had a lot of fun on these walks and the best was finding a huge puddle of mud that well became our play pit. So we have heaps of really happy memories here.

The bridge at the hide spot is an excellent place for lunch and on hot days you can cool yourself off in the stream. Amber really loves playing in the stream, as did Matthew and Sarah. Just a pity the stream came before the mud pile as it would have been good to wash off in. You can walk around the mud pit, so no worries there if you don’t want to play.

We highly recommend you do the whole Lewis Road walk, which starts at the end of Lewis Road. It is a fun and beautiful walk. ENJOY!

Original Contents: Sidewalk chalk, Fremantle Dockers watch, fetch ball, bottle opener, glow in the dark sea life,
bungy cords, Aussie pen, bug, key ring, combination padlock, sticker books, bling, cat nature world, flame ball and hair jewels.

There is a FTF prize being an unactivated ‘Cacher Crossing Geocoin’ for your collection or to set off traveling, plus a FTF Certificate

Take the pup and have a great walk.

Lewis Road Walk Trail Notes
  • Park car at end of Lewis Road, head back towards the houses and follow the track by the fence over the creek and up the hill.
  • Turn right and keep going up the hill. At the top you come to Panoramic Terrace, turn right and follow this road which becomes Ozone road. Keep following this until you come to a white gate and head off downhill.
  • Take a left at the fork and follow it down to the bridge (for lunch).
  • Follow the track up the slight rise and turn right. Follow the main track to the right – keep right. Then keep right some more.
  • Then go straight ahead at the fork, which is Palm Terrace Walk.
  • Take the track to the right, then take the right fork just before the water tank.
  • Follow the road to the right and back to the car park.
