The cache has been placed along the graded track of Wadi Bani Awf, at a point overlooking the village of Hat.
A 4x4 is required to drive across Wadi Bani Awf.
The cache is a plastic container with a yellow cap that has been lodged between rocks.
It contains a few items to be traded, a logbook and a pencil.
Enjoy one of the most beautiful Wadi in Oman, the sight of Balad Sayt and its terraces is awesome, but take great care when driving, the track is narrow and steep in many places and there can be many other cars touring the area, the drivers of the tour operators' cars in particular seem to believe that the track is theirs.
