Geocache Description:

We thought we would get a series started along the old defunct railroad from North Conway to Fryeburg.

Park on East Conway Road at either side of the RR tracks. It is just a short walk to the cache. Some of you may find this very easy. Some of you may not. We have started the difficulty out as a 3 and will adjust it based on the logs. You are looking for a small well hidden micro. It is better to stop and think about it than start looking. Where would Hipointer put that cache? Further down the tracks is an impressive bridge over the Saco River. It has been completely decked over for winter snowmobile use. You will find another cache there.

Note: The original cache was a nano on the tip of a RR spike. The name Union Pacific was supposed to make you think of the golden spike driven at Promontory Point, UT that joined the Union Pacific and Cental Pacific railroads creating the first trans continental railroad. The RR spike with the nano on it has long since disappeared, but the current cache is still a nano.
