East Kurrajong follows Bull Ridge from Comalroy rd to near Sackville. it is a small ridge that allows you to see down towards SYDNEY Basin and on the other side Great Dividng range.
In1876, The Rev Monaghan of Wesleyan beliefs,the Minister in Windsor requested a School be established at Buttsworth, an early pioneer of the area, MSJane Taylor was the first teacher.
in 1891 a new school was opened as Bull Ridge Provisional School.
From 1922 the area was known as East Kurrajong.
