Now is it in Carlton or Yeadon ?
A way marker erected hundreds of Years ago to
direct travellers
to an Ancient Settlement at Dene
Head.
In 1984
it was moved 186 yards to the South West to make way for the
Runway extension, it now resides at the side of a busy
roundabout.
The cache is
close by but due to security considerations it’s not actually
at
the Long Stoop but on the boundary between Carlton and
Yeadon.
Please be
careful when searching or replacing the cache if you drop it it’s
gone !!!
