Geocache Description:

A quick park and grab. As usual, watch out for muggles.

The Altoids tin is one of the most popular geocaching small containers, holding only a log and small items such as geocoins. Most are camouflaged and/or laden with magnates to provide for some fun and ingeniously placed caches.

Did you ever wonder what an unadorned Altoids tin looks like? If you are not into Altoids, as I am not, you probably did not know that they come in a variety of flavors. This cache represents one of them. I've eaten so many Altoids I have decided that, after tasting a few, for this one I'll just dump the contents out in a ZipLock bag for future use.

One of the drawbacks of a container made of tin is that is rusts easily and quickly. I have sprayed this tin with a clear preservative to lengthen the life of the cache. If you notice any advanced deterioration of this Altoids tin please so note in your log.

As of this placement Altoids Dark Chocolate - Creme de Menthe is the newest flavor in the Altoids inventory. Creme de Menthe is definitely a flavor to which I will not cotton. However, the chocolate covering makes it more palatable, at least until the chocolate is gone.

Unfortunately, the original Altoids tin was muggled and a replacement was unable to be found. So, the container is something else

This cache is placed a bit differently than all but most of the others in the Altoids series.
