General Disarray: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of ‘a few weeks’ as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

Mud, Sweat and Gear Oil

There is something that happens to me when I slip the transfer case lever into 4 Hi or Low and dial the hubs in. I can't explain the feeling I get in my stomach, the part queasy part electrical feeling that lets me know something good is about to happen. I rev the motor up watching my tach needle swing to the rpms and listen to the exhaust note. Fang is feeling it to as she has been wanting to play in the dirt for a while now. I look at the incline and drop her in second giving her some gas. She responds with the front wheels pulling a little hard as the rear wheels slip a little before getting traction. I just have to grin at Kand as I give her the gas and attack the steep incline. Oh yeah it may not be the same as running the river but I have dirt under her wheels and I am climbing angles and dropping in holes most cars wouldn't go. It feels so good to be playing in the Oklahoma red dirt.

This day started as a typical day of getting Kand out of the house and lets get the exploring mode set in. Who cares if you can't breathe because of the ragweed, there is some fun to be had. We had been by this area the other day in Skittle but I wanted to come back and play with Fang on the dirt mounds and in the tight trails and muddy creek here. So after playing for a while and whooping it up and meeting up with the owner of the next parcel of land to the west of here and sharing some stories and history of the place, you know what I had to do. Oh yeah, I can see the question forming in your mind but you already know the answer.

Yes, you are looking for a 50 caliber ammo can done up in a typical Darkmoon Stealth paintjob and hidden out here. It is filled with some bootylicious swag that I know you will want to trade for and show your non caching friends what you do over the weekend. Yes this is in and near woods and a creek so be advised that there could be THORNS, there could be POISON IVY, there could be WILD TREE WEASELS looking for revenge and there could be hazards like hidden ditches that could stop a Jeep and then it would rain and flood, hidden tree limbs that will jump up and scratch your paint and stab your tires and a possible crumbling trail by a creek that could cause you to topple in. Yes most places charge you for that but this one is free. So park up top and walk down or be adventurous and drive down, you have been warned. The cache is placed so you will not need to go on his property. So get out of the chair, put your boots on and turn off the telly as there is some smiley to snag!. Welcome to my InSaNiTy!

Darkmoon
