An easy cache with easy terrain and plenty of parking.
This cache resulted from yet another of my wistful nostalgic ponderings about the "good old days". While running some errands I happened to be going past a certain establishment, or actually a long string of establishments which seems to get longer by the day, when I thought "Wow, I remember when this used to be the airport". When I was a little wee person, it was the funnest time to go watch small planes take off and land. Of course, this was way before video games, the internet, and geocaching (and TV was black and white with only 3 channels). I am very thankful for all the shopping, dining and recreational opportunities which are available to us these days, but sometimes the ghosts of long ago times come creeping up and yelling "Boo" at me. I confess I still miss the Skypark Airport, which used to be located where today you will find this cache. Cache is log-only in a small magnetic cylinder.
