My local AAA office suggested geocaching as something to do to
help alleviate the boredom our daughter (Shellyshel) might incur on
a long drive trip to Washington, DC. Our very first cache was in
Virginia called
Off your Pew? (GC14QFX). I didn't even own a
GPS then. The cache is archived now because "the pew broke". It
was based on the "Off Your Rocker" series of caches. The
difficulty was not in the hide, but in the muggle factor. We had
a great time and the cache owner even contacted me to
congratulate my family on our first cache.
This cache is in honor of that first cache. Depending on the day
and time, the difficulty can range from one to three stars. Because
the cache is in close proximity to a restaurant with seating with a
clear view of GZ, the most challenging times are lunch and dinner,
especially 6PM to 8PM on a Friday. The employees of the
establishment closest to the cache are aware of its existence (and
will probably be smiling at you). You do not have to be concerned
about them! This cache is handicapped accessible (let me know if
you think it isn't). It is log only however a small geocoin would
probably fit fine. Please bring your own pen. FTF gets a $5 gift
certificate to the nearby restaurant. Enjoy!
Congratulations to Blitznmore on the FTF
(at 11:20PM!)
Congratulations to IMSpider on the STF early the next
morning!

This cache is certified
Central
Jersey!
