Geocache Description:

Monkeyaid:

During the period of July 1999 to August 2008, Danny and Mike lived in (and thoroughly explored) Norwich and surrounding area – and in this time a number of interesting, beautiful or tranquil places were discovered.. often now being recalled for associations with specific events in their lives.

The Monkeyaid set of caches has been created as a little memento of those times – as both Danny and Mike now live elsewhere in the country (although still visiting Norwich regularly).

The Monkeyaid set of caches are mostly small (room for a couple of small items) but includes one larger cache “Monkeyaid: The Scrapyard” – the precise coordinates of which can be obtained by piecing together the clues contained within some of the smaller caches... who knows, there might be one here..

The Blackberry Quarry:

The Blackberry Quarry gained its name due to the abundance of brambles in fruit on our first visit.. a fair number were eaten whilst scoping the place out... the location of the cache is not at the entrance used by Danny and Mike (when it was clearly abandoned) but as that entrance is now obscured by the expanding brambles and thoroughly overlooked by a house (due to the hacking back of their garden hedge), this spot is now the most sensible place to put a cache where browsing around for it won't cause unnecessary concern to the locals.. In the days when it was abandoned (unclear now), the occasional visit involved games of cards or clambering about on the gantries and conveyors..

When leaving:

Please ensure that the cache is fully covered so that it cannot be seen by passers-by.
