Geocache Description:

Three inch snuff can in a no-parking-fee portion of the Denman Wildlife Area.

Fall, winter and early spring are a good time for this cache. Late spring and summer watch for ticks. Follow the obvious trails (longer walk if you take the road, shorter if you do the trail) until you're close. If it's been really wet, water blocks a portion of the road but mid-calf boots will be sufficient. Beaver have formed this pond and occasionally F&G has to reduce the size of the dam. You may see one of several kinds of heron, ducks, or a muskrat. Be sure to take out some trash - lots of folks who come here don't. Cache could hold really small swag. Make an hour of it with KNOTTY CACHE, FOURTH POND FALLS, and MOSSY, the other caches in this part of Denman.
