At White Clay Creek State Park
Carpenter Area Off Rt 896
Picnic Area near Parking Lot
Picnic lunch at noon
This is being done as a low budget event. We do not have a pavillion (at cost of $130) but will be able to move a bunch of Picnic tables together (aka Dog Days of August Event) There is grill and charcoal will be provided. Please bring hot dogs/hamburgers/rolls or side dish/snacks/drinks/etc to share. Say what you will bring. There will be no charge for this event except for is a $3 Park admission charge per vehicle.($6 for out of state)--or free if you have annual park sticker.
If you would like to volunteer to help with this event, please let me know. Sorry for the short notice, but I was tied up with work and my long fall vacation
There will be:
An Event Geocache with temporary caches is planned. Anyone that completes the event will be in drawing for prizes. Donations for prizes would be appreciated.
Travel Bug exchange table. Time to discover and trade geocoins, so bring your extras.
New caches in White Clay Creek (planned (pending park approval and will be available for the event.
There are many other regular caches in the park to find.
BUT mostly meeting and talking with other Geocachers. There are many new geocachers in the area so this is chance to meet fellow cachers. This is family friendly event so kids are welcome
We will be using name tags to help you meet new cachers.
