Remember : "If you hide it, they will come !" Located in the Greenville Neighborhood Greenspace
Greenville is a neighborhood corresponding to the lower Bacon Creek valley along Old Correctionville Road, and also includes residences and small businesses along the original Floyd River channel just upstream from the Stockyards area. Old Highway 20 is the same road as old Correctionville road. A new Highway 20 was built south of the original road. Many small businesses are built at the convergence of South Fairmont Street and Highway 20. Flood control projects on the Floyd River and Bacon Creek Watershed have stopped the flooding that plagued the area as late as the 1950-60's. A Greenspace has been created at this convergence. There are no benches or walk ways, just a beautiful rock and flower garden to enjoy.
