I've been caching for a while, and I've been thinking about hiding a cache for the longest time. But my perfectionist streak has been getting in the way.
I was caching at Almaden Quicksilver park, and in The Flame Station I found a nice little cache container. It's a cylinder, about 1" in diameter and 5" long. I got the message; I decided to stop procrastinating and just place it. It's kind of a large micro or a small small; it can hold small trade items.
And I had a beautiful spot in mind, a bit of nature surrounded by the Los Gatos suburbs, with beautiful paths and oak trees (park info). As small as it is, it has a real feeling of remoteness as you head to this end. There used to be a cache nearby, but it is no more.
It will be easiest if you just snap open the top and leave it attached.

There's poison oak in the area, but none right at the cache site.
