The event is about 10 miles by road from the listed coordinates.
If you'd rather drive directly to the event and skip the "multi"
part, decode the hint and it will take you there. But please read
the rest of the description before deciding to skip the hunt.
The listed coordinates will take you to the first stage of a
"bread crumb" trail to the event site. At the first stage, you will
find scorecards and a list of randomly generated, 4-digit numbers.
Each unique geocaching name can take a card. Each geocacher will
pick one of the random numbers and enter it in the indicated space
on his or her scorecard.
The coordinates of the next stage will also be on the paper with
the numbers. Each subsequent stage will contain a list of randomly
generated 4-digit numbers. Each cacher will pick a number from the
list and enter it in the appropriate space on their scorecard.
Upon arrival at the event site, each set of numbers will be fed
through a mathematical formula to determine door prize winners.
Now as for the event:
BigG & Ogre will supply dogs and burgers from the grill and all
the fixings. We'll start cooking at 1:00 PM. Just bring whatever
drink you like and a healthy appetite. You might also want to bring
a folding chair. We have some but if you bring your own, you're
sure to have a place to sit.
