There was rivalry growing between the Professors to see who could be the first to find on a new cache. Croquet Mike was full of optimism that he could finally beat Tjapukai, just for once. That would make him truly happy. Meanwhile Tjapukai was just following his normal behaviours when the new caches appeared and of course working from home rather than being in the office inevitably helped him.
WW2 devised a cunning plan – a new cache which would test the “brain power” & competitiveness of the professors and then to sit back and watch what happened as they attempted to use their perception to gain the final co-ordinates. WW2 was intrigued which one might "crack the code" first.
They both contemplated alternative solutions, through a process of wondering how WW2 might have been thinking.
One night both the professors were having their usual attack of insomnia, working on puzzles at 4a.m (they both claimed they were busy working, being highly industrious in their work as they were). Suddenly & simultaneously they both received a visitation from an angel who cunningly showed them what they were missing – both now instinctively knew where they were heading and so the competition for the top place began:
