Geocache Description:

What better way to celebrate the Holidays then with a group of friends and fellow geocachers gathered around sipping hot coco and eating sweets?

Cheefy will there to cook up a batch of his awesome hot coco and we’ll be sure to have some marshmallows too. Please bring your favorite holiday treat to share with others. We will be meeting at Psalmond Road Recreation Center Sunday December 7th from 2 – 4. Bring your sweet tooth!

We will play a Holiday Trivia Game to kick off the afternoon. We will set up a carnival for the kids. Please let me know in your log how many boys and girls will attend and their ages.

For those who wish to participate we will be playing the white elephant gift exchange. The game is also known as Yankee Swap, Kris Kringle, Dirty Santa, GiftWar, Grinch Exchange, Rob Your Neighbor, Nasty Christmas and Chinese Gift Exchange. This has become a Holiday tradition for us!

The rules of the game:

1. Each person playing draws a number.

2. On the first turn, the guest with #1 chooses a gift, opens it, and reveals it to all the other players.

3. On the second turn, the guest with #2 gets the choice of "stealing" #1’s opened gift or choosing a new unopened gift. If #2 steals #1's gift, then #1 must choose and open a new unopened gift.

4. On the third turn, the guest with #3 gets the choice of "stealing" either #1’s or #2’s opened gift, or choosing a unopened gift.

5. This continues until all gifts are opened.

6. You cannot steal from the person who just stole from you.

7. A gift is out of play once it has been stolen 3 times.

It’s a lot fun!!! Please keep the gifts under $10 and bring a gift for each member of your team who would like to play.
