Note the mile marker post. C-195 = 195 miles to Chicago................................. We are trying to understand what this Rock Island Line Caboose is doing here in Epworth, the rail lines that ran thru this area were the Illinois Central & the Chicago North Western, not the Rock Island. The caboose was owned by Frank Simon, and then donated to the Society by James Simon of Farley, Iowa. The caboose is maintained by the Epworth Historial Society, please respect this area.
