Geocache Description:

Easiest to park in the Retail Park, but be aware this gets very busy after 10am at weekends. Flat terrain, and given a number of nearby streams, inclined to be muddy in the wet. The lid is a bit stiff, but please take care to ensure it's locked, so that the contents remain dry, before re-hiding well.

Please leave the laminated character card in the cache for others to pick up the story.

If you have a muggle for a partner leave them to go for a coffee while you get your boots on (you will need them), carefully cross the road and dash up to the site. A military confrontation took place near this spot. Saw a deer here when I placed the box.

The third in a series dedicated to the memories of those who died during the Pentrich Rising of 1817.

If you have time Nightmare on Muggle Street(GC2ZCGW)and DEL'S DELIGHT (GC2FJ82) are only a few minutes further on. Check out the bookmark for other nearby caches including The "Watnall Wander" series further up the path, together with Krypton Factor, and many more.

Quicker grabs nearby can be easily reached by parking round the
corner at N 52 59.920 W 001 16.320. From there cross under the dual carriageway to Gt Northern #1 (GCNEK8) and Hedgerow Hunt (GC1GYAW).

Footnote: Since placing the cache I have learned that three roads on a nearby housing estate have been named after some of the revolutionaries.
