Geocache Description:

A micro hidden in a cemetery in Carthage, NY.

This cache is an easy find hidden near an area of the cemetery where some veterans are buried and honored. There are even 2 unknown soldiers buried there. We thought they ought to be remembered, so we've placed a cache here, with the permission of the caretaker. Since this is placed IN a cemetery, we ask that you take care to be respectful and be careful to not disturb those who are visiting loved ones here. The walkway will actually bring you to within 5 feet of the cache, so no crosscutting is needed. If you are interested in the unknown soldier graves, you can walk about 20 paces SSW from the cache site. The cache container is a camo-covered film canister on a string, and contains only a logbook, so BYOP. As usual, please replace exactly as you found it, so others can enjoy it. Please do not attempt this cache after dark, as it is well patrolled.
