Geocache Description:

Mejdal i udkanten af Holstebro.

Umiddelbart nord for selve cachen ligger fællesbebyggelsen "bOringen", skønt placeret i Mejdal - lige i udkanten af Holstebro med skoven som nabo og tæt på Vandkraftsøen.

Bebyggelsen er et ejerfællesskab, som er etableret i årene 1981-1985. Her bor 14 familier med hver sit individuelt arkitekttegnede hus. Man deler et fælleshus på ca. 200 m2 med værksted, vaskeri og fællesrum, hvor man kan spise sammen 3 gange pr. uge.

Fællesbebyggelsen er multinational og bredt sammensat af børn, unge og ældre. "bOringen" er ikke et kollektiv eller et ideologisk/politisk orienteret bofællesskab, men derimod en praktisk og social bevidst måde at bo på - med plads til individualister ;-)

The community “bOringen” is located in the northern vicinity of the cache. The community is beautifully located in the village of Mejdal – in the suburb of Holstebro with forest and lake (“Vandkraftsøen”) in the neighborhood.

The estate is an “owner-community”, which was established in1981-1985. Here live 14 families in their own individually architect-designed houses. The families share a 200m2 “common house” including workshop, laundry and common room, where you can have dinner together with the other families 3 times a week.

The community is multinational and consist of both children, young and older people. "bOringen" is not a collective or a ideological/political orientated community, but a practical and social way of living – also with room for individualists ;-)
