Geocache Description:

This a quick two-stage multi cache. The posted coordinates take you to a statue. At the statue you will gather the necessary numbers to find the final container.

CONGRATS to Bushwackrz on their FTF!

The statue "On Watch" was erected in 2007. It is placed on the site of the WWII Naval Amphibious Training Station in Dowell, MD. The statue commemorates the many men and women who valiantly served our country during WWII.

Around the statue are engraved bricks. Most of the bricks are engraved with a soldier's name and the dates that person served. Consider the dates in the format of ABCD-EFGH. For example, CDR JS RIDDILE's brick says he served 1941-1945. A = 1, B = 9, C = 4, etc. Your task is to find the bricks for the following people and note the dates they served.

Please note that this cache was hidden in 2008 shortly after the statue was erected in 2007 and that MANY bricks have been added since the cache was created. What I am saying is that the names you are looking for are all the "oldest" bricks around and closer to the statue.
