A Pedra da Sé encontra-se no concelho e freguesia de Tábua e é um miradouro natural por excelência. Trata-se de um conjunto de rochas graníticas que se elevam sobre a margem esquerda do rio Mondego já na albufeira da Barragem da Aguieira. A imponência do local é sem dúvida impressionante.

Trata-se ainda de um óptimo local para fazer observações astronómicas, sendo também escolhido para campismo selvagem. Se for efectuada uma vista nocturna recomendamos um cuidado extra nas falhas ente as rochas que, em alguns pontos, ultrapassam os 3 metros de profundidade.

The Pedra da Sé is located in Tábua and is a natural viewpoint for excellence. It is a set of granite rocks that rise on the left bank of the river Mondego already in the dam's reservoir Aguieira. The magnificence of the site is certainly impressive.

It´s also a great place to astronomical observations, and also choosed for wild camping. If you decide to visit this cache at night we recommend an extra caution in the gaps between the rocks that, in some places, ares beyond 3 meters deep.

[PT] A Cache:

O acesso até até à cache pode ser feito por duas alternativas:

1ª - Através do waypoint ACESSO que inicia perto da ponte que é mostrada nas fotos em cima e trata-se de uma estrada de terra com uma subida inclinada até muito próximo das coordenadas finais. Habitualmente é perfeitamente transitável por uma viatura normal.

2ª - Esta alternativa é caracterizada por um menor relevo do que a primeira e não deverá estar ainda na cartografia dos GPSr, pois foram realizadas obras recentemente. Na estrada sair em Tábua Oeste e ir em direcção ao waypoint ACES2A. Neste local seguir até ao waypoint ACES2B e seguir pela estrada de terra.

[EN] The Cache:

To reach the cache there are 2 alternatives:

1st - Through ACCESS waypoint that starts near the bridge that is shown in the photos on top. It’s a dirt road with a sloping rise until very near the end coordinates. Usually it is perfectly passable for a normal car.

2nd - This alternative, is not probably yet in the mapping of GPSr, because works were carried out recently. On the road, take the exit to Tábua Oeste, towards the waypoint ACES2A. From there until the waypoint ACES2B and then follow the dirt road.
