This cache is a section of PVC pipe around 1.5 feet long and 4 inches in diameter. It's been painted a camo green color. We recommend parking in the Forest Preserve parking lot, hiking along the trail and then getting off of the main trail onto a side trail near N 42 15.455 W 088 05.452.
This is the first cache my dad and I have planted. We were just walking around the trail looking for a place to put a cache when we discovered this area. It's a really great area and doesn't appear to get much traffic. While you're in the area, there's some fun exploring to be done near the cache. You can get a great view of the lake by taking some short paths down to the shore. The cache is starting with two travel bugs, some assorted foreign coins, as well as some other random trinkets. Have fun!
