Geocache Description:

You are looking for a brown painted bison tube. Bring your own writing implement. This cache can help those who are trying to complete the requirements for An Alphabet Soup Challenge for Alabama (GC17F5M).

When I was a very young girl, my parents brought my brother and me to this place when it was on the Mobile Highway. We toured the facility, found a mixed-breed dog which we took home and named Zeke. He was a good dog, very protective of “his” family and a wonderful playmate.

This is a good place to look for a new member of the family. Do your “spring” cleaning before you come. If you have old blankets, towels, aluminum cans, pet carriers, doghouses and/or newspapers, bring it with you. Leave it near the front of the building. The people there will take care of the recycling for you.

Mr. Stephen Tears, the executive director, has given permission for this cache. However, he requests all searches be made during business hours. Hours are 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. Please abide by this request.

Update 06/27/2010: Repositioned cache to hopefully make it a little easier to find.

WARNING: If you are at this location after business hours, you are subject to being questioned by the police. This may also result in the cache being removed.

Congratulations to Pilfering on the FTF and thanks for the donation.

Spoilers of any type and duplicate logs will be deleted without notice.
