Snyder Cemetery Cache
Some of my favorite
caches are ones that are placed in cemeteries. When I head about
this cemetery and how it was haunted I went looking for it because
I knew this would be a great spot to place a Cache.
Finding it was NO easy
matter! My Family and I set out to find it back in April on a dark
stormy day it was around 5:00pm when we approached the dirt road
that my GPS was leading me to when we saw a Police car blocking the
road.
We asked him about the
Snyder Cemetery and he knew where it was but said we could not get
to it down this road because a tree fell down and was blocking the
way in to the cemetery. He told us there was another way in so we
did exactly that took the other way in.
Driving down these old
dirt roads gave us all an eerie feeling as we made our way in the
back way. When we got there it was still light out but we stayed
until it got almost dark thats when my daughter got scared and
wanted to leave so we did... But not after I picked a spot to place
the Cache!
Now after Months of
waiting the Cache has been approved and is now ready to be
found....

The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise
posted.

even did a piece on the Cemetery when a paranormal team made a
visit there to gather evidence for the hauntings.
I even experienced some
strange things there myself. When I first visited this site the
stone that says Snyder on it was there and I took a picture of it,
but when I went back to the site to gather the coordinates and take
pictures the stone was gone... I told the park ranger about it and
he told me he would check it out. Now just today when I placed the
Cache the stone was back?? Weird...
Today we also met some
guys back there who told us they were ghost hunters and were
planning to stay out there tonight and invited us to stay....
I gave them a quick NO
THANKS !
They told us many
stories and they are convinced it is haunted.
But you can Judge for
yourself when you make the visit here to find the Cache.
The Cache is not hard
to find but I made the Difficulty a 3 because it may take some of
you some nerve to make it out here..
Anyways, This may be
one that you want to do at dusk anyhow... Right??
You won't find me out
here then!!!
