Geocache Description:

A drive-by cache, just off I-15 exit, not far from the road.

A pie-piece sized Tupperware container with a few small items. From the cache, you can see the Starlight Dance Pavilion a few hundred feet to the west. I think it was in the 1930's and 40's, maybe before that, that this pavilion was a popular dance destination with live bands. My parents danced here as young adults. But this cache is for our son, Cory, who serves in the US Coast Guard. As a military family, we would come home to Southern Utah to visit. On our visits, Cory was always fascinated with the old outdoor dance pavilion at Anderson Jct. He has often returned to take photos and wonder what it was like back in its hey-day. You can almost hear the music if you stand still and listen. So for Cory, who serves his country with Homeland Security in the US Coast Guard, we place this cache. As Leann Womack states in one of her songs, "you can either sit it out, or dance - then Dance!"
