Not many visitors know that the world headquarters for this wildlife organization are located right here in Door County.

'Deer's Another Cache
 another DCexplorer Geocache
This easy cache is the starting point for another cache, Portage Waypoint. Although on private property, this fine organization is receptive to Geocachers, and has gracously granted permission to place the cache here, even encouraging all Geocachers to stop by their gift shop (when open) for some free swag. However, this is a non-commercial cache and is maintained by myself, not them.

Parking is available in the nearby parking lot and permission is granted to visit the cache area by Jeff Davis, Publications Editor, and Peter Gerl, Executive Director. Questions about the cache can be directed to myself or the two above contacts at 800-274-5471.
Inside the cache are the true coordinates for Portage Waypoint. Continer is fairly small, but not a micro. The sponsoring organization knows the cache is there, so you don't need to skulk, but please still be respectable in not trampling flowers and such.
