Fishing the river Traditional Cache

Up above the flood line of the river is hidden my second cache. About half way along the river in between the Highway and Coxal RD.
Not far past the Oldfield river Bridge, on the west side, is an area to park. You can try to get closer to the cache by 4WD or motorbike but you will appriciate the area more on foot.
The scrub can get a little thick in places so make sure you have full lenght clothing and good boots. Not only is the flora and bird life worth the walk but there in FISH in the river.
Take with you a hand line with a long shank hook. Put a small length of blue drinking straw and a piece of bread or red meat on the hook. Use a running float to help prevent snags and try your luck in the many water holes on your way.
Lots of good views and near the cache is a good picnic spot.
Each side of the river reserve is private property so be careful not to stray into there paddocks.
