Geocache Description:

Micro cache (replaced with a 35mm cannister) containing only a log - please bring your own pen/pencil - hidden at the side of the dual carriageway between Dundonald and Newtownards. As this is a very busy road, please exercise caution at all times.

There is a plaque to commemorate the Ards Tourist Trophy race from 1928 to 1936. This is the start and finish line for the race. If you have the time, why not visit the TT Memorial erected in Conway Square, Newtownards in August 2008? The co-ords are N54 35.612 W5 41.787.

I have given this a difficulty rating of 2 because it can be quite open to passing muggles. The police sometimes do speed checks from here, so the difficulty rating may need to increase to 5.
