Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small, round lock&lock container wedged at the base of a small tree.

Cache is located along the former New York Central/Canada Southern line between Welland and Niagara Falls. This segment of the line was abandoned after the construction of the current ship canal. Apart from the scattered ballast and the ditches on either side of the right-of-way, very little is left of this once busy line.
