artemisworks: The cache was still in situ, but a bit hard to get to because of all the bramble. Removed cache from site, archiving. Thanks to all the geocachers who came and did this series.

This is one of a series of nine caches located in Halfridge Wood to the east of Nettlebed in South Oxfordshire. Parking is available in either Catslip to the west of the loop or Bix to the east and it may be possible to find a space to the north close to Valley End Farm. Nearly all of the route is relatively flat as well as dog-friendly there are a couple of stiles and the possibility of livestock to negotiate between no’s 3 & 4. Going at a leisurely pace, this series can be completed easily within 2 hours.
At the time of placing the trees were still in leaf and reception was fairly poor so all the hides were kept nice and simple. As the area is fairly popular with other walkers please ensure that the cache is well hidden so that others can enjoy the series.
