Found in State Game Lands #145, this is an easy hike along farm roads (as well as the Horseshoe Trail). Now that this area is open to visitors, the cache has been replaced.
This is a large Lock & Lock with camo tape. Please re-hide the container well because hunters/fisherman may come across this cache location while bushwacking.
Please remember to follow Game Lands rules regarding wearing safety orange in this area during hunting season. Most Sundays are "no hunting" days and are exempt, but there are several deer season Sundays that are open to hunting.
A note on the cache name: I've heard of people hunting pheasant in this game lands - so I picked that name. And while I was placing the cache, two pheasants came cackling out of the corn field nearby. To see them cruising just inches above the corn stalks... I knew I had chosen the perfect name for the cache. Enjoy the hike and the nature here, I know I did.
PLEASE HIDE THIS BETTER THAN you found it. This was muggled early Spring 2009, and when I checked on it two weeks before the "incident" I found it easily viewable from the trail.
