This mountain really needed a cache. I am told there used to be one up here, but I don't see anything now, so we decided to hide one here. Cache is a locking clear plastic container, hidden in the rocks.
When you find the cache, please sign with your thumbprint. There is an inkpad and a log book. We forgot to leave a pen, so if someone could please put one in, that would be most appreciated. Anyway, this is a great hike, if you want to do the hike how we did (on the trail) the coordinates for the trailhead from the west side are N43 47.132 W111 59.406. The trail is pretty steep at first, but once you get to the ridge, it's a fun walk around to the cache. 8/26/2021 I am surprised this cache has lasted as long as it has! It's been almost 13 years now, and several cachers have posted coordinates from their own GPS units as to where the cache is located. I have updated the coordinates, but if anyone else finds the cache and feels like they have better data, I am happy to update the cache page. Enjoy the hunt, and thanks for the information!
