This cache is on top of mitten mountain, near the fire tower. The elevation is 450ft.,and the trail is quite rocky.However, our 7 year old and our friends 3 1/2 year old had no trouble .
This cache is a cammo lock n lock.There are more than one way to get to this cache. We drove in on the Station Road in Jonesboro until we parked, the cords for parking are N44.43.376 W067.40.305. Please be courteous and do not block road! From here its a short walk to the trail. The trail head is at N44.43.491 W067.40.101. From there head up to the cache.The views are great from here!!! A friend that was with us at them time of placing this cache, did climb the fire tower, there are boards missing and a couple broken steps, so for those you who are on the adventurous side, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! As always in the Maine woods during hunting season, please wear orange! There are bench marks here, if someone wants to discover them!! Happy caching!!
