Wag That Tail -- Then Pick it Up cache. As he
wrote in the original cache description:
The title is a bit of a clue. When you get close, you'll
figure it out.
I remember when I found this cache that it brought a smile to my
face when I saw the correlation between the title of the cache and
the hide location. But my smile turned to a frown when I realized
that the area around the cache was wet, and it wasn't due to
irrigation.
That made for a bit of an icky grab!
Now that the icky cache has been archived, I've decide to honor
it with my first multi-stage cache. But this is easy. All you have
to do is visit the hide location of the original cache. About a
foot off the ground you should see a single digit number which
we'll call X (because everybody knows I like "X"
). The new cache can be found in one of
two ways.
The first way is by projecting a waypoint from the posted
coordinates (X3-110) feet at an angle of
(X2+110.338) degrees true north. (That's X cubed - 110
and X squared + 110.338 for those viewing this on something other
than a "real" browser).
The second way is by subtracting .0ab from the latitude and .0cd
from the longitude where ab=(X*5)+1 and cd=X+10
Hopefully this cache won't be as icky.
The cache itself is a bison-style tube, so it is sign-only, and
please bring your own writing utensil.
