Between A Rock and a Hard Place Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nicademus: I have decided to archive 3 of my remaining caches. I have had a career change which requires a lot of time and I am having difficulty maintaining my caches in a manner I feel they should be. So I have had to make the difficult choice to archive these.

Geocache Description:

Formerly titled "Lots of Islands", this cache is hidden along a very scenic road with spectacular water views. This road extends from an interchange of highway 401 at Ganonoque for about 45 kilometres to the community of Butternut Bay, near Brockville.

The road follows the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. It was to have been the alignment of Highway 401 through the area until 1968 when a new alignment of highway 401 was opened further to the north.
