Geocache Description:

Short walk along the Sea Wall - the Wash Nature Reserve Car Park is nearby.

Continuing the exploration of the Wash National Nature Reserve at Kirton Marsh. This Reserve is the largest of its kind in England. More info. at www.naturalengland.org.uk
At this point the Sea Wall is set well inland, and the walk enables you to see across the Salt Marshes to the distant Sea. On a clear day, you may also be able to catch sight of Boston Stump, which boasts the tallest Parish Church Tower in England.
You can walk in both directions, either towards the tidal River Haven, as it makes its way from the Sea to serve the Town of Boston; alternatively you can turn towards Fosdyke, following the Northern Bank of the River Welland.
The Cache itself is located close to the Trail. It is a small lock & lock rectangular plastic box. When set it contained a FTF Certificate and Button Badge, log book and pencil, and an activated TB. There was also small items to swap.
This is a relatively quiet area, although we did encounter some Dog-walkers
Due to the possibility of 'muggling', we have relocated the Cache, therefore there Co-ordinates have been changed.
Whilst in the area, why not check out our other Cache at GC1H71C - Moulton Marsh Wander.

For the benefit of future Cachers, it would be appreciated if retreived TB's or Geocoins could be replaced by a similar item. Many thanks.

FTF! Congratulations to Mimi and Bod.
