Turn Hill Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Calluna Tib: Ernie's wife has now decided that she would prefer that the caches placed by him are archived. The containers will be removed during the Christmas holiday.
She would like to thank people for the many good wishes she has received.

Geocache Description:

Wonderful hill top views - with no need to climb!

This is a very pleasant and quiet location with views over King's Sedge Moor. I suggest you park at N51 04.821 W2 50.277, from which it is a nearly flat walk. There are many other footpaths in the area you might prefer to take. A little further on from the cache is a stile into Beer Woods, this is certainly worth a visit (Click this link for information ... click here), and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. PLEASE respect all that grows here !!!

The cache should be easy enough to find in a usual sort of place. Please take care to re-hide and cover carefully so as not to be seen.

Again, please take care not to damage the trees, bushes and young plants. Although, when I placed the cache, there were signs of fires being lit, do not light fires here. The unusually coloured sheep that are sometimes kept here are Jacobs Sheep; the wool they provide is very sought after by people spinning by hand. Jacobs Sheep make excellent pets (if you've a field or two).
