A beautiful location with a choice of long or short walks over varying terrain sometimes requiring the use of welly boots.
Tregye Wood is centrally located between Carnon Downs, Come to Good, Feock and Penpol.
If you are after a quick cache and dash then park at Penpol at N50.12.902 W005.03.974 . This is limited road side parking so please use it with consideration.
If you are looking for a longer walk then park at N50.12.703 W005.03.984 and follow the public footpath through Tresithick Wood turning right into Tregye Wood at Lower Tresithick.
The cache is on an unmade sometimes very muddy public footpath. You do not need to leave the path, climb trees or go through/over hedges or fences to locate the cache. Please note that the path is sometimes steep with several styles, a small bridge over a stream and some steep wooden steps. The cache comprises of a small (350ml) lock and lock box containing a log book, pencil and various swap items. There is a £1 coin for the first to find.
Please ensure the cache is returned as it was found.
