This Cacher is a Proud Member of the
MAGC:

Lincoln traveled up the Missouri from St. Joseph, MO with the
Illinois Secretary of State O.M. Hatch. Lincoln had not expected to
stay very long and so did not give any warning at all to his
friends here. He and Mr. Hatch traveled from the ferry landing near
the Western Historic Trails Center into Council Bluffs and checked
into the Pacific House on August 12th, 1859.
