Shadows spot got fried Multi-Cache

markellie: This time Shadows spot got plowed. The BPR is building the new trail to Riley Ranch from here. It looks like a metal grate trail will be running around the rock slide to the other side. The rock pile where the cache was hidden is no longer there. Thanks for the finds, finders.

Geocache Description:

The original Shadows Spot was nearby but the fire made me move it a bit. It's now an easy multi in the same area with an upgraded name.

The best starting point is from the Tumalo State Park parking lot. Follow the trail upstream to the only waypoint which is a small blue tag on a tree. The trail will cross a small road and continues past the bridge. Please do not go on the bridge as it is private property.

To find the cache you will notice a number on the tag. Simply continue along the trail that many feet from the waypoint. The cache is hidden six feet below a rather unique ponderosa tree that is half of what it should be.
