Marmorgrottan Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Not very far from the road rests this cache, which might be difficult to get at in the winter. If you come here during spring, wear rubber boots.
The cave has been named after the beautiful slate and chalk stone it
is made out of, so it's not actual marble - it's very pretty though.
You can enter the cave, but rubber boots are adviced. A flash light is
also helpful. Look at the lake inside of the cave - you can see fish!
There is now a nice barbeque spot and a toilet (well, an outhouse)
situated above the cave.
The cache is NOT inside the cave, but outside. It is probably hard to find in the wintertime and might be a little tricky during spring flooding.
Cache contains (from the beginning): two pins, a keyring, a painted stone, log book.
