This year's Caching Christmas
Cracker will be held at the Heath End Village Hall in Baughurst,
Hampshire on Sunday 14th December 2008 from 12.00 noon to 5.00pm.
We will be setting some caches for you to go and find during the
course of the afternoon, hopefully on a circular walk starting and
ending at the Village Hall, so you will be able to leave your car
in the Hall Car Park.
The plan this year is to have a
buffet lunch with everybody contributing a plate or dish of food to
share. Please see below for an idea of what to bring. Some cachers
have already contacted me to say what they would like to bring.
Please click the link and make a note of what you would like to
bring with you.

We will be ending the event with
mulled wine and mince pies.
There is a hire cost for the
Village Hall, but it is not extortionate and can be covered by a
raffle, with any surplus money going towards the cost of the mulled
wine. Raffle prize donations greatly appreciated.
Please add this page to your
watchlist so you can be kept informed of updates.
Thanks.
We look forward to seeing
you all this Christmas, old friends and new.

Please bring either a
plate or bowl of something savoury: sandwiches, quiche, flan,
cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, nibbles with dips, pasta salad,
leaf salad, potato salad, coleslaw, rice salad, etc
Or a pudding/dessert:
small cakes, gateau, cheescake, cheese and biscuits, etc
Mince pies to go with
the mulled wine would also be appreciated, but not essential - we
will have too many if everyone brings some
Johnny5a has very
kindly set up an online spreadsheet for us all to log what food we
are bringing. Please click

to make your entry. There is no need to register or log into
anything, just fill in where appropriate.
Please don't forget
to bring liquid refreshments with you - the consumption of alcohol
in the hall is permitted. We will have tea and coffee making
facilities. It would be lovely to see people wearing Christmassy
hats, outfits, flashing earrings, tinsel etc. I've got a lovely new
hat especially for the event!
Please contact us if
you have any queries.
The most important
thing to bring is of course yourselves!!! We look forward to seeing
you.
