The “Restin’” caches are a series that will take you to local cemeteries, places of great historical interest. From pioneers and modern people these lovely places are full of interesting information. Please take your time – walk around, visit with the past. The caches are easy to find. Please respect where you are. Current Mississauga mayor Hazel McCallion's husband is buried just a few metres east from the cache area. If you go to the big MCCALLION stone and then head back, you will also come face to face with a very worn stone, but it clearly bears the name of TIMOTHY STREET. He is the person for whom Streetsville was named (thanks to Rideau Rangers for this insightful information). Another interesting note is that there is a prominent stone for Timothy Street in the Streetsville Memorial cemetery just down Queen Street. Wonder which cemetery he's buried in? There is no pen/pencil in the cache please bring your own writing instrument. This cache is hiding in the cemetery behind Trinity Anglican Church in the historic town of Streetsville.
