Geocache Description:


We were out taking our Caesar's Head-Lake Lure Loop on the motorcycles today and wanted to place a cache to highlight a great road to ride. We always like to take this side trip when we are in the Lake Lure area on our bikes. It is a curvy, winding, narrow road, which we nicknamed the Tail of the Salamander. I can't say how many curves are there and I'm sure its not 318, but it is a great road to ride. Hope you enjoy. There is a small pull off and the cache is across the road from the parking. Small round lock-n-lock.
