This is our very first cache hide. The location of this cache is very special to NJgeogymnast and me. We found this location while on our 1st geocaching adventure as father and daughter. A great spot to take a break and you’ll be rewarded by some fantastic panoramic views. The cache contains the usual trinkets and a special prize to the first to find. There is also a disposable camera so we would love to see your happy mugs. Please email us when the camera is full.

The best approach is to park at the small designated parking area on Pool Hollow Road in Pompton Lakes and follow the Yellow blazed, Hoeferlin Trail that begins at end of road on other side of RR tracks. An alternate approach would be to take the Cannonball Trail that begins at the end of Barbara Drive in Pompton Lakes.
